Just wanted to give a heads up to all of you out there waiting with bated breath for my next nook report, I’ve been reading a lot during my daily walks, so my review of the Odyssey should be here sooner rather than later.

I wouldn’t have posted until it was finished, but I I haven’t had a regular blog post in a while, and wanted to put something up.

In this episode of UnderDiscussion WDR and I briefly discuss the origins of our monikers and then launch into a review of the third edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay.

This one may be a little too heavily edited, but we’re still trying to find a balance. Let us know what you think.

UPDATE: Corrected the title of the post.

8one6 and I are editing our latest podcast.  Holy crap!  If it wasn’t for the editing software we would sound like the podcast of the speech impared.  Stuttering, repeating ourselves, mispeaking, long pauses, and the dreaded UMM are proving to be a nightmare.  Plus I hate the sound of my own voice.  We should be called Porky and Jethro Fudd.  Is it just me or does Jethro Fudd sound like a NASCAR driver?
We have decided to do a podcast about editing a podcast at some point.   Lord help us all.

8one6, Hooligan, and myself are off to GENCON in August. As we prepare for the trip, I’ll be posting my thoughts about and updating our plans for this adventure in gaming. Expect a pre-GENCON episode of UnderDiscussion in the future. We also plan to record at least one episode of UnderDiscussion while there.
Last year was my first GENCON and I was blown away. It really is the “greatest four days in gaming”. For those of you that have been, you understand. If you haven’t been there, you must go. The most fascinating aspect about GENCON to me is the access that one has to the people who produce the games we play and love. The interaction is awesome. The exhibit hall is mind boggling. The dice booths alone are amazing. The possible games and seminars are legion. I’m excited like a kid before Christmas. We look forward to sharing our adventure with you.

Those who know me in “real life” already know what happened. But it’s not all bad. I’m going to turn this negative into a positive and go back to school. Now I need to decide between computer and electronic engineering for my major.
